On Saturday morning, November 9th, a group of women gathered at the church parking lot. Some were headed on a mission trip to Sager Brown UMCOR Depot and others to the 47th Florida Conference United Methodist Women Annual Meeting.
Nine women from our unit attended the conference.
The theme for the conference was our Heritage to Share.
Stories were shared on how UMW has impacted their lives. Some of the women were in their 90's and had been in UMW over 60 years.
Ethel Ewing talked our UMW mission giving..
She compared our mission giving to the Energizer Bunny, for our mission giving keeps going and going.
The conference ended with communion.
