MISSION U, DONE TWO WAYS

Mission U was done virtual the last two Saturdays in June. Several of our Unit attended this way.

Since the first Saturday was the 19th of June there was recognition of Juneteenth.

Both studies were done, Bearing Witness in the Kin-dom and Pushout.

In each study there were break out groups.

There was even some homework assigned and shared the following Saturday.

You  only had to attend the 4 hours of the studies each Saturday. But there was a lot of good podcast and information shared during the other hours. There were talks from missionaries, about the work at the Wesley Center in the Keys, and Pastor Kris shared about the prison ministry at Lowell.

Then on July 15th to the 17th Mission U was held  at the Warren Willis Convention Center  (formerly known as the Life Enrichment Center). This group of women from our unit attended the in person Mission U. It is great to be together and to learn and fellowship with other woman from around Florida.

The prayer table in the classroom.
This was a special year for it's the 75 anniversary for Mission studies in Florida.
It was a time to celebrate.

A beautiful quilt made from some of Mission U t-shirts through out the years.
A beautiful ending to a special weekend.
