PEOPLE OF FAITH

Blessed Sacrament hosted the People of Faith meeting on January 24, 2023. It was a very nice program. A video was shown of Bishop Robert Barron's sermon. He reminded us that God is reaching out for us, and not that we are in search of Him. He is knocking let Him into your heart.  Our attachment to worldly things in our life get in the way. Be grateful for all of creation and gifts we are given, rather then a quest to be perfect.
Another part of the program was 21 questions that will change your life from Prayer Journal:" Dig the Well before You Get Thirsty" by Matthew Kelly.   Read through the list and think about your answers.

"We will hear God always laying the right question before us at the right time in our lives. At the same time, there are many other people and voices in our life proposing different questions. The questions we choose to ponder determine the quality of our lives."

There was a delicious lunch served after the program.

This was a very busy week, so only about 5 women from our unit attended the meeting. Mark your calendar for Friday March 3 World Day of Prayer at our church and Wednesday April 26 for the next People of Faith meeting at South Lake Presbyterian church.
